Will Loomis lives with his mentally handicapped sister Violet, whose wish is a younger child to play with. To fulfill it, Will kidnaps a child—and another—from a local children's home, convincing them they have died and gone to heaven. Together they turn their farm into a “little piece of heaven,” while police investigate the missing children.
