A Boy and His Dog

In 2024, the world is left in ruins following the catastrophic Five-Day War, known as World War IV. The landscape has transformed into a barren desert wasteland, where survival becomes the main concern for its inhabitants.

Vic, a young man navigating this deserted world, possesses a rare ability: he can communicate telepathically with his dog, Blood. This unusual bond shapes their survival as they rely on each other for companionship and guidance.

The relationship between Vic and Blood is complex, as Blood often acts as a cynical mentor to the naive Vic. Their dynamic is laced with tension, particularly due to Blood's habit of calling Vic 'Albert', leaving the latter perplexed.

Together, Vic and Blood traverse a treacherous world filled with dangerous marauders, deranged androids, and mutants. This perilous journey leads them to rely heavily on one another for survival against various threats.

While seeking companionship, Vic and Blood encounter a woman but sadly find that a gang has already killed her. This grim discovery heightens Blood's frustration, pushing Vic to seek out another woman to fill his needs.

Vic spots a group of scavengers led by the self-proclaimed 'king', Fellini. Attempting to steal food from the gang, Vic impresses Fellini with his audacity, but soon finds himself in danger as mysterious watchers spy on them.

As night falls, Vic and Blood end up at an outdoor cinema where Vic is captivated by a disguised woman named Quilla June. The moment turns chaotic as marauders arrive, and Quilla saves Vic's life during the ensuing skirmish.

The morning after their shared adventure, Blood urges Vic to abandon his infatuation with Quilla. Unbeknownst to Vic, Quilla is plotting her escape and betrays him by knocking him out and fleeing, leaving him confused and heartbroken.

In a misguided attempt to reclaim Quilla, Vic pursues her into the underground civilization. This surreal encounter leads him to the grotesque 'Committee' and their leader, Lou Craddock, who has sinister plans for Vic.

Vic learns with horror that he has been chosen to repopulate the sterile underground community, strapped to a gurney for a disturbing purpose. His reality shatters as he understands the grotesque expectations placed upon him.

Just as despair envelops Vic, Quilla appears to rescue him from the Committee's grasp. Their escape is frantic and fraught with danger as they confront a killer robot sent to enforce their capture.

After their narrow escape, Vic and Quilla return to the harsh realities of the surface world, only to discover that Blood is gravely ill. The stakes rise as they face danger on all sides while struggling to keep their bond intact.

Vic grapples with a devastating choice: to save his beloved dog Blood or to follow Quilla into an uncertain future. The emotional weight of this decision reflects the deeper confines of loyalty and love amid chaos.
