Step one: learn three chords; step two: form a band. Ian Bonar plays Stevie, a wannabe musician whose style mixes Jarvis Cocker with early Elvis Costello. He and drummer friend Neil (Matthew Baynton) juggle call‑centre jobs while dreaming of indie fame. To round out the group they enlist hard‑drinking guitarist Billy (Kieran Bew) and eccentric bassist Emily (Lyndsey Marshal), who also sculpts objects out of hair.
