In Seabrook, werewolves, humans and zombies live in fragile peace as Seabrook High's senior year begins. Addison has just been accepted into Mountain College, and Zed is chasing an athletic scholarship with hopes of joining her there. The town looks forward to the upcoming season and the possibilities beyond Seabrook.

On the night before the anticipated football game, a UFO triggers mass panic in Seabrook. Alien leaders A-Lan, A-Li and A-Spen teleport down and pretend to join the National Cheer Off to cover their real mission. The town braces for disruption as the aliens settle in.

The aliens interrogate the werewolves and scan minds with their Luma Lenses, assessing threats and potential leverage. Eliza from Z-Corp begins helping Zed with his scholarship, while the aliens’ manipulation undermines his academic and athletic records. The tension rises as Zed and Addison navigate the newcomers' strange influence.

To curry favor, the aliens offer a chance to boost Zed's grades and football stats in exchange for his help. He assists them in locating the Moonstone, which they scan for coordinates and realize is key to their map. The revelation tightens the bond between Addison and A-Spen, who confesses her feelings for Zed.

A-Spen meets Addison and confesses she is in love with Zed, complicating the emotional stakes. The trio reveal their true purpose: they seek a home in Utopia and will use Seabrook’s most precious thing as a portal. Meanwhile, the aliens begin to pressure the cheer team during practice and monitor the town's reactions.

At cheer practice the aliens nearly get exposed, prompting a retreat to their Mothership. Zed uses his knowledge of Seabrook to help them escape, while Addison is accidentally beamed aboard. The town's suspicions grow as the true reasons for the aliens' visit begin to surface.

While reviewing the Scout logs, the townsfolk realize that the scout is Addison's maternal grandmother Angie. This twist reframes the interstellar map as a family secret and deepens the stakes for Addison. The detail clarifies relations and sets up the search for Utopia.

Zed faces his home college interview, but Addison's alien connection triggers a collapse in his performance and his interviewer leaves in confusion. Addison questions her own identity and asks her mother about Angie. The aliens' team claws for the Seabrook Cup as the map's potential route.

Addison realizes the Seabrook Cup—crafted with materials from the aliens' home world—could be the key to their coordinates. The aliens grow wary that winning may seal their fate, and the werewolves alert Z-Patrol to their presence. Tension mounts as the competition nears.

The extraterrestrial team is disqualified from the Cheer-Off, leaving Addison as the last hopeful to unlock the map. The Seabrook Mighty Shrimp win the trophy, and the town revels in the victory while the aliens scrutinize their next steps. The werewolves move to reveal the scheme to the Z-Patrol.

The werewolves crash the pavilion to expose the aliens' plans, forcing a confrontation with the town. Addison finally reveals her alien heritage, confirming her connection to Utopia and her role in the unfolding map. Zed discovers that the coordinates lie in Addison's DNA.

The aliens declare they will take Addison to their new home, accepting that Earth may not be their final destination. Zed offers to go with her, but he cannot due to the fatal Stardust energy. Addison agrees to join the aliens, understanding the cost of their mission and their love for Earth.

On the day of departure, the aliens' ship suffers critical damage. Werewolves offer to power the ship by filtering moonstone energy through Zed's Z-Bands. Zed risks his life but survives long enough for Addison to escape; they share a final kiss before the ship vanishes into hyperspace.

A few days later, with Addison absent, the town celebrates graduation. The aliens decrypt Addison's DNA and reveal Earth is actually Utopia all along, confirming Addison's belief that Earth was the promised land. The community comes to terms with the revelation and the possibility of coexisting with new monsters.

The aliens return to Seabrook with Addison's fate sealed, and the hunt for a shared home continues. The town accepts the aliens into Seabrook, alongside other monsters and creatures, expanding the community. The closing scene shows Bucky boarding the Mothership and activating it to spread cheer to the galaxy.
