Nazi hunters Serge and Beate Klarsfeld spent twelve years pursuing Klaus Barbie after he escaped to Latin America under an alias. La Traque recounts their early work in Germany and the legal‑media battles that led to the French trials. The film shifts perspectives, showing the Klarsfelds, Barbie and Bolivian victims, blending history with a reminder that memory must be actively defended.
