Wrongfully Accused

Ryan Harrison performs a world-class violin concert, showcasing his artistry to a captivated audience. The performance establishes his status and leads him into the social circle that includes Hibbing Goodhue, his wife Lauren, and the mysterious Cass Lake.

After the concert, Harrison attends a party at the Goodhue residence. There he encounters Hibbing Goodhue, Lauren, and Cass Lake, and the introductions hint at motives and tensions that will drive the plot forward.

Lauren leaves a note in Harrison's car summoning him to the Goodhue mansion the following evening. He suspects a trap but feels compelled to go, hoping for answers about the party and the Goodhue orbit. The invitation sets the course for the mystery to unfold.

Upon arriving at the mansion, Harrison encounters Sean Laughrea, who has just killed Goodhue (and an accomplice). A violent fight ensues as Harrison learns Sean is missing limbs, and he overhears talk of a covert operation codenamed Hylander.

Harrison is knocked unconscious, then wakes to find himself arrested and convicted for Goodhue's murder. He realizes the evidence against him is manufactured, and his desperation to prove his innocence grows.

During an improvised escape from a prison transport after an accident, Lieutenant Fergus Falls arrives on the scene and takes charge of the pursuit. He vows to do whatever it takes to capture the fugitive.

Harrison returns to the Goodhue mansion, where Cass helps him hide behind a portrait and explains she believes Lauren is the killer. She warns him of police pursuit but won't betray Lauren.

Harrison gradually pieces together clues: Sean was present at the party as a bartender and was paid by Cass. He also notes Cass's unusual interest in Sir Robert McKintyre, the UN Secretary-General, deepening the sense that people around him have hidden agendas.

Further investigation reveals that Cass, Lauren, and Sean plan to assassinate McKintyre. Harrison follows their movements but is caught, adding to the danger.

Harrison follows the group, is caught, and Cass shoots him to fake his death. She explains that she loves him and wants to stop the assassination since McKintyre is actually her father.

News confirms that Goodhue was murdered by Sean and Lauren, who plotted the crime after he began suspecting his wife’s motives. The mansion becomes a backdrop for deeper betrayals.

At a Scottish festival, Harrison and Cass manage to save McKintyre's life. They are cornered by Lauren, Sean, and their accomplices, but Fergus Falls and a SWAT team arrive just in time to arrest the terrorists.

Lieutenant Fergus Falls tells Harrison that he was wrongfully accused, clearing his name and officially acquitting him.

In the finale, Harrison and Cass ride the bow of a cruise ship, a playful spoof of the Titanic. They narrowly survive as their heads bump against a low bridge.
