Wonder Woman: Bloodlines

In 2013 on Themyscira, Diana rescues US pilot Captain Steve Trevor during a Parademon attack and treats his injuries with a purple healing ray. Hippolyta imprisons Steve due to the island's no-men law, prompting Diana to break him out and defy the rules. She senses an omen of an otherworldly invasion tied to Steve's arrival and prepares to act.

Diana and Steve arrive in Washington, D.C., and Etta Candy escorts them to archaeologist Julia Kapatelis. Diana meets Julia's daughter Vanessa, whose jealousy grows as Julia spends more time with Diana than with her. Diana resolves to stay in the mortal world and protect it as Wonder Woman, even though Hippolyta disapproves.

Five years later, Julia asks for help locating Vanessa after she steals an artifact to trade with Doctor Poison. Diana, Steve, and Julia confront Poison's soldiers and Giganta; during the battle, Julia is fatally shot. Poison escapes with the artifact, and Vanessa blames Diana for her mother's death and flees.

Vanessa is recruited by Doctor Poison and Doctor Cyber and transformed into Silver Swan. Diana and Steve locate Poison in Qurac and travel there using a stealth jet provided by Etta. Silver Swan attacks; Diana defeats her, while Poison escapes with a prototype bioweapon.

Diana and Steve bring Vanessa to Cale Pharmaceuticals; the purple healing ray might reverse the transformation, but Diana cannot recall Themyscira's location due to a mystic block. Cale reveals Vanessa has been researching Themyscira as a personal project. Diana discovers a clue: to regain knowledge, she must drink water from a fountain at Pasiphaë's temple.

In the temple, Diana and Steve face Cheetah, who is part of Villainy Inc. led by Poison and Cyber, who also use a serum like Giganta's. Steve and Etta navigate the maze and encounter a Minotaur; Diana subdues Cheetah, reunites with Steve and Etta, and drinks the fountain water to restore her memory. She learns the Minotaur was enchanted to guard the fountain and destroys it, freeing Ferdinand.

The trio returns to Cale Pharmaceuticals and pin down Themyscira's location, but Cyber interrupts, revealing Villainy Inc.'s plan to steal Amazon artifacts for profit. Cyber reactivates Vanessa to attack Diana, and the others escape. Diana defeats Vanessa; Vanessa flees.

With the new information, Diana and Steve return to Themyscira, only to find it under siege by Villainy Inc. Vanessa distracts the heroes while Cyber and Poison unleash their endgame weapon, Medusa. Medusa refuses to be controlled, destroys Cyber, and begins destroying the city, while Poison is turned to stone and takes a serum to empower Medusa.

Confronting Medusa, Diana is badly beaten; she blinds herself with Medusa's venom to face her head-on. Vanessa, inspired by Diana's sacrifice, helps Diana and together they kill Medusa. In the aftermath, Hippolyta and Vanessa reconcile with Diana as Themyscira stands on the verge of a new openness.

Hippolyta proclaims Diana the champion of Themyscira and decides to open Themyscira to the outside world. Vanessa and Hippolyta reconcile, and Diana's role as protector becomes official.

In a mid-credits scene, Diana returns to Washington and confronts Cale, who reveals herself as the mastermind behind Villainy Inc. and the killer of Julia. Cale claims she will invade Themyscira again for profit, but Diana accepts the challenge and impales her sword in her desk, leaving confidently as Cale struggles.
