In rural southern Spain during the 19th century, a disparate band of outlaws—each from a different background—struggles to survive. They take refuge in caves across a rugged, hilly terrain to evade relentless law‑enforcement agents, while simultaneously confronting an exploitative mining company that oppresses the impoverished villagers of their home.
