In 1962 Chattanooga, Tennessee, Peggy Phillips' life is irrevocably altered by a brutal assault. Years later, her mother's deathbed confession suggests Peggy’s child might still be alive, launching a search for answers and exposing long-held secrets. A documentary filmmaker joins Peggy in her quest, confronting a web of conflicting accounts, societal pressures, and the silencing of sexual assault survivors in the 1960s. The investigation uncovers deeply buried truths and challenges the narratives surrounding the tragic event.
