Gao Ju (Xia Yu) and Zhang Yang (Pu Shu) have been inseparable friends, but both fall for the charismatic Huanzi (Zhou Xun). Huanzi returns affection to each, creating an unstable love triangle. After college they promise never to meet again, yet Gao cannot resist pursuing Huanzi once more, and the broken pact spirals into disaster.
