A bleak story follows a disillusioned worker trapped in a grim housing project, whose attempts to better his life are even less successful than the heroes of Bald‑Dog Rock. He buys a power drill, slings it over his shoulder like a spaghetti‑western anti‑hero, and turns entrepreneur, boring holes in his neighbours’ walls so they can hang mirrors or pictures.
