In horse racing, the soap opera follows trainer Joel Tarrant (Ty Hardin) as he begins an illicit affair with stable‑owner’s wife Laura Rubio (Suzanne Pleshette), hoping the liaison will fund his dream of buying his own horses and stable. The story reveals the lives, loves and betrayals behind the racetrack and won Photoplay Front‑Cover Award for talent.
