After a suicide attempt, Dawn (Jodie Jameson) is sent by her psychiatrist to convalesce in a remote seaside flat. While heavily sedated, she discovers a dying mutant mermaid fetus on a deserted Norfolk beach, takes it home and becomes obsessed. The creature feeds on the flat’s sexual energy, grows, and exudes a hallucinogenic slime that Dawn tastes, pushing her life into even stranger realms.
