Junior Asparagus, the carefree son of a Kansas farm family, longs for fun. He discovers the Wonderful Land of Ha’s, an amusement park overseen by a mysterious wizard who promises to grant wishes. Defying his father's request to help with the harvest, he flees with his dog Tutu. Along the way he befriends a bored scarecrow, a tin‑man eager for roller coasters, and a lion who craves cotton candy. Together they seek the wizard, learning that true happiness often lies back home.
