A reclusive dwarf living in New York City is unexpectedly drawn into an unusual quest by an enthusiastic neighbor who believes aliens are invading. They set off on a strange road trip to rural Canada, encountering a diverse group of oddball characters along the way, including passionate cosplayers and survivalists. As they journey, old traumas are revealed, and they confront the unsettling possibility that the greatest fear isn't alien abduction, but the profound isolation of a disconnected world.
