A traveling musician sets out to meet a fellow fiddler, but along the way he encounters two enigmatic girls whose conversation about the afterlife unsettles him. As they journey toward a remote village, the line between illusion and reality blurs. Later, both men attend a funeral where ancient rites blend with a ritual that binds a deceased girl to an “afterlife groom.”
