Mickey Mouse and Pluto set out up an African river hauling a cargo of goods, including several musical instruments. After striking land, they are seized by a tribe of cannibals who intend to eat them. When Mickey lifts a saxophone and begins playing “The Darktown Strutter’s Ball,” the captors abandon their plans and join him in an impromptu jam session.
