Set in early 14th‑century France, Queen Margaret of Burgundy and her two sisters host nightly orgies for beautiful nobles. The blindfolded men are slain after the revelry and their bodies cast into the river to conceal the queen’s infidelities from her husband. One lover survives; he knows she once bore his son, possesses evidence that she plotted to murder her own father, and now blackmails her with these secrets.
