When theatre actor Giuliano receives a surprise visit from his childhood friend Tommasso, a bittersweet reunion unfolds. Years have passed since their last meeting, prompted by Giuliano’s declining health and his choice to decline medical intervention. He dedicates his remaining days to settling his affairs, distributing his belongings, resolving old conflicts, and finding a loving home for his dog, Pato. Over the course of four days, the two men explore Rome, visiting familiar places and reflecting on their lives and the uncertainties of what lies ahead.
