This documentary explores the extraordinary career of Gerald “Tommy” Morrison, a heavyweight boxer who rose to prominence in the 1980s. Born into a difficult family, Morrison’s boxing career gained momentum with a role in "Rocky V" and culminated in a victory against George Foreman, earning him the WBO heavyweight title. However, his promising future was tragically cut short at age 27 when he tested positive for HIV, forcing his retirement. The film chronicles his subsequent struggles with substance abuse, legal issues, and a denial of his diagnosis, revealing a complex and ultimately heartbreaking story.
