Kanade Takakura is a top New York police detective, known for sharp judgment but emotionally distant and rigid. Haunted by his father's murder as a boy, he pursued a career to seek justice. Maruo Kudo, a former motorcycle‑gang member, now serves as a special detective for the Japanese police.
