After their parents open a campsite in France, siblings Isa and her older brother Kars feel uprooted, likening it to moving to Timbuktu. Their complaints fade as they make new friends, but Camping Timbuktu soon faces a rival site whose hostile owner sabotages it, threatening closure. The children rally to save their camp and fight to keep it alive.
