Nanotech researcher Wang Miao is summoned to the Joint Operations Center by police officer Shi Qiang, who is probing a worldwide spate of scientist suicides. He is recruited to infiltrate the Frontiers of Science. There, leader Shen Yufei introduces him to a VR simulation called Three‑Body, which soon proves far more than a game.
