Blandine lands at Charles de Gaulle to join her husband Papi in Paris. Though she seeks asylum, officials lock her in a cell with Africans, humiliating. After a runway clash injures her, staff halts her expulsion. She meets Papi in a squat where residents share harsh stories. With few resources and a cold welcome, she doubts leaving her mattress.
