After a wizard miscasts a spell, 12th‑century knight Godefroy de Papincourt, Count of Montmirail, and his servant Jacquouille la Fripouille are hurled into 1993. Confused by cars, phones and contemporary life, they create chaos until they meet Beatrice de Montmirail, a descendant who may hold the key to sending them back to 1123.
