East L.A. has become a graveyard for beautiful young hipsters, and a string of murders goes unchecked. Charlie, a meticulous crime‑scene cleaner for Aftershocks Inc., applies Sherlock‑Holmes‑style deduction, while Wallace, a down‑on‑his‑luck filmmaker, documents the scenes. The detectives assigned—Henry and the sharp‑tongued Carlita—are more apathetic than effective, despite their impressive names.
