Thomas, the son of a prison warden, finds himself drawn to Martin, an inmate under his father's charge. When Martin is released, the two attempt to forge a lasting partnership and a shared future, but relentless scrutiny, family disapproval and societal prejudice keep them under constant pressure, refusing them any peace.
