The Awakening

Matthew and Jane uncover a long-hidden tomb bearing the inscription Do Not Approach the Nameless One Lest Your Soul Be Withered. The line foreshadows a dangerous power guarding Kara's resting place. They press on toward the burial chamber.

As they prepare to breach the entrance to Kara's burial chamber, the team presses deeper into the site and the atmosphere darkens. The tension between Matthew and Jane grows, while Anne's unease sharpens.

During the assault on the tomb, Anne experiences a painful premature labor, interrupting the dig. Matthew and Jane hurry back to camp to attend to her, fearing for both mother and child.
