Carla, seven months pregnant and working as a Bath cashier, is contacted by Heather about murdering her husband, Simon, who has been cheating. Heather offers a substantial payout, starting at £50,000 but Carla pushes for £75,000, indicating her willingness to take the job seriously. In Heather's house, Carla and Heather begin plotting the murder and decide to stage it as a botched burglary to mislead investigators. They discuss how to carry it out and what evidence to fake or avoid. The plan's tone is clinical and strategic, with both women looking to minimize risk.
