Sabina and her Roma brothers arrive in the quiet Swedish town of Holmsund, where they find work in a garage. Sabina seeks employment while Elin, a local girl, sings at a graduation ceremony. As summer begins, an unexpected connection forms between the two young women, leading them to challenge the traditions of their respective communities. However, their burgeoning relationship unfolds against a backdrop of social unrest and fear, as the town grapples with a growing sense of unease and personal tragedies begin to surface.
