On January 6, 2021, a mob stormed the U.S. Capitol building in an attempt to disrupt the official confirmation of Joe Biden’s presidential victory. Fueled by false claims of a stolen election, the violent attack resulted in five deaths and brought the nation to a political crisis. The documentary examines the events through various perspectives, documenting the actions of the attackers and the response of security forces. Following the incident, many participants have been identified and charged, but deep divisions persist within American society, with the possibility of a renewed presidential candidacy still looming.
