Mickey and Pluto set out for a day of beach fishing. Their outing takes a comic turn when a clam lodges in Pluto’s mouth, which Mickey assumes is Pluto’s tongue, prompting Pluto’s frantic pleas for more food. After they free the clam, their plan to use minnows as bait is thwarted by a hungry seagull and its friends, driving the duo away.
