During a severe cold snap in Cincinnati, the public library offers refuge for the city’s most vulnerable residents – the homeless, mentally ill, and those struggling to be seen. Librarians find themselves acting as caregivers to this community. When the library becomes an unexpected shelter, a tense situation develops involving the occupiers, law enforcement, and the media, challenging everyone's understanding of what a public space truly represents.
