The Old Guard

On the ocean, a crew led by a mysterious woman pulls an iron maiden out of the water, revealing Quynh, who is gasping for air after being trapped inside. The crew breaks open the iron maiden and frees her, marking the first significant event in the film. This sets the stage for the existence of immortals and their hidden lives.

In Croatia, Andy and her team track down arms dealer Konrad. They infiltrate his compound where Joe and Nicky create a distraction on the road, while Andy, Copley, and Nile breach the mansion, ultimately killing Konrad by shooting him off a balcony. This mission exemplifies their efforts to stop illegal arms trade.

Back at their hideout, Copley informs the team that Konrad was not the buyer of the weapons, but rather the mysterious woman seen on CCTV. Nile recognizes her as someone from her dreams, where she witnesses her going into a library and killing an unknown man.

In Paris, a disgraced Booker, living in exile, is stunned when he finds Quynh standing in his apartment. Quynh asks Booker for help to find Andy, blaming her for her 500 years underwater imprisonment, revealing her ongoing struggle and desire for vengeance.

Nile, Joe, and Nicky search for Booker to get information, while Andy and Copley seek out Tuah, an immortal who directs them to the library and reveals the existence of Discord, the first immortal, and her connection to Quynh.

In the library, Tuah tells Andy and Copley that Discord was the first immortal and was present at Quynh’s execution. Discord's motives are unknown, but she seeks to manipulate the team, and Andy confesses she has lost her immortality.

Quynh is found working with Discord, and they confront each other. Quynh expresses her anger at Andy for her perceived abandonment, and Discord reveals her plan to make the immortals her captives, explaining her desire to regain her lost immortality.

Booker fights Nile and is wounded during a sparring match, which results in his immortality being taken away. He chooses to keep this secret, and it is later believed that Nile's wound might have also affected Andy's immortality.

Discord and Quynh break into a nuclear facility, planting bombs to kill millions. The team rushes to the site after learning of the trap, aiming to stop their plan and protect innocent lives while facing off against Discord’s goons.

Booker sacrifices himself by taking a hit meant for Andy, which restores her immortality. He fights and kills multiple guards but ultimately dies, with his death marking a permanent end. Meanwhile, Nile injures Quynh, removing her immortality, but she is also hurt by Discord.

Andy faces off against Discord on the roof of the facility. Discord reveals her plan to make herself and the others captives, intending to recover her own lost immortality by draining the team’s powers. Discord escapes after outmatching Andy.

Andy and Quynh reconcile after their conflict and team up again to pursue Discord. They plan to confront her together to prevent her from achieving her destructive goals, strengthening their resolve and alliance.
