Charles Chauvel’s debut follows country girl Dell Ferris, the Moth of Moonbi, lured to the city’s glitter. There her inheritance is quickly squandered amid high‑society revelry. Back at Moonbi Station she faces cattle rustler Jack Bronson and ultimately finds peace and love with loyal head stockman Tom. Only a fragment of the film survives today.
