Federico, a national television executive, grows convinced his wife Elena—an actress who quit her career after they married—is unfaithful. He notices subtle signs: Elena sighs often, gazes skyward, and can pinpoint the exact moment a comet streaks across the heavens. She seems to be waiting for the night she calls the most beautiful.
