Flora, a ruthless femme fatale, marries a titled European aristocrat to protect her family's plantation. Shortly after, both her husband and a rival meet their end in a glacier accident. She then marries Admah, the lover of her sister Margaret, and drains him financially until he is sentenced to prison.
