Under a Japanese occupation, Koppun struggles to keep her family alive. She sells flowers in the market, hoping the earnings will buy medicine for her ailing mother. Meanwhile her brother is held in prison, her father has already died, and her sister lives in blindness, forcing Koppun to confront daily hardship and uncertainty.
