Two over‑the‑top, second‑rate actors, Hector Trignol and Achille Baluchet, devise a bogus murder plot to steal the spotlight. Baluchet is to “kill” Trignol, who will mysteriously vanish and then reappear like magic during the trial, but the ruse quickly unravels and their scheme falls apart.
