Spanky George McFarland is the playful and mischievous youngster who hitchhikes to the campsite with Scotty. He contributes to the lamp-shadow excitement that unsettles the older kids, highlighting the gap between adult caution and childlike curiosity.

Matthew Beard plays Stymie, one of the older kids who serves as a steady presence helping manage the group. He provides stability and practicality amid the camping adventure, with his protective nature aligning with the group's need to stay together.

Scotty Beckett plays one of the younger campers who is eager to join the trip. He and Spanky arrive early at the site by hitchhiking, challenging the older boys' reluctance. He is adventurous and loyal, sometimes getting carried away in the moment.

Billy Bletcher plays Wally's Father, a cautious parent who believes the kids will return by nightfall. He represents the adult perspective of concern for safety, contrasting with the kids' eagerness for adventure and driving the underlying tension of the night.
