The story begins with a childhood memory of a young filmmaker, Sebastiano d’Ayala Valva, being forced to listen to unsettling music by his father. This echoes a mysterious past, leading him to investigate his ancestor, the Italian composer Giacinto Scelsi (1905-1988). Scelsi was a unique figure who believed his compositions were divinely inspired, claiming they were directly influenced by the gods. The film explores this connection and delves into the composer’s life and artistic vision.
