A ruthless moneylender kidnaps the young son of a wealthy widow, hoping to eliminate him and steal her fortune. He arranges for the child to be taken out on a fishing boat, planning to drown him. However, a compassionate old fisherman aboard notices the danger and steps in, rescuing the boy and disrupting the criminal plot.
