A passionate recounting of the stormy romance between 19th‑century French literary giants novelist George Sand and poet Alfred de Musset. Their intense bond unravels during a Venetian sojourn, where Musset succumbs to drug use and Sand becomes entangled with an attractive physician, leading to the breakup of their affair.
