The Cellar

Brian and Kiera Woods relocate their family to an old, dilapidated house. Their teenage daughter, Ellie, is particularly discontent, preferring to be with her friends instead of adjusting to their new environment.

On their first night in the new house, Brian and Kiera leave Ellie in charge of her younger brother, Steven. Ellie, feeling annoyed by the responsibility, begrudgingly agrees, but it's an ominous beginning to their evening.

While exploring the house, Steven discovers a hidden room filled with various old artifacts. Among them is a peculiar device called the sonographe, which projects a man's voice reciting formulas and counting up.

When the power goes out, Ellie is left alone and feels an eerie presence in the house. She follows her mother's advice to count to ten, but as she does, her counting shifts into a strange, mesmerizing cadence, alarming both her and her parents.

After an unsettling night, Kiera and Brian rush home only to discover that Ellie has vanished. They are soon joined by law enforcement, who believe she has run away rather than consider more sinister possibilities.

Kiera, feeling that something sinister is at play, embarks on her own investigation. She finds strange symbols and equations in the cellar, discovering a dark history that may be linked to the house.

One night, while attending to Steven, Kiera hears unsettling whispers from the upstairs bathroom sink. The voice eerily counts, drawing her attention back to the cellar where she feels a growing sense of dread.

Kiera investigates the strange symbols found throughout their home and seeks assistance from her coworker, Erica. They decipher the glyphs to spell 'Leviathen,' revealing a connection to dark legends.

While exploring further, Kiera finds herself drawn to the cellar again, where the sonographe starts to count ominously. She glimpses a monstrous eye but is shocked when it is Steven, unaware of the danger.

Kiera learns more about their home's history and the mysterious previous owner, John Fetherston, who vanished under questionable circumstances. Each revelation raises the stakes and her fear grows.

With tensions escalating, Kiera confronts Brian about the symbols and a possible demonic influence to which he initially dismisses her fears. However, when the sonographe begins counting again, they realize the reality of the threat.

Kiera meets Rose Fetherston, who warns her of the dark entity known as Leviathen, which her father summoned to save her ill brother. Rose's warnings indicate that the evil is not only in the cellar but pervades the entire house.

A climax unfolds as the family's search for Steven intensifies, and the sinister presence of Baphomet is revealed. Time becomes disjointed as Kiera and Brian realize they are fighting against unseen horrors for their son's safety.

In a moment of chaos, Kiera manages to find both Ellie and Steven, challenging Baphomet. With their family united, they attempt to escape, only to discover the horror they face is even darker than they imagined.

As the credits roll, the family finds themselves trapped in a cycle dictated by Baphomet, counting together as they fall deeper into the demon's dimension. The creeping horror suggests their battle isn't over, but just beginning.
