The Blossoming of Maximo Oliveros

In the gritty urban environment of Manila’s slums, 12-year-old Maxi (portrayed by Nathan Lopez) navigates the complexities of life amid stark contrasts. Embracing his effeminate nature and a burgeoning affection for the handsome young police officer Victor (played by JR Valentin), he finds himself caught between societal expectations and his authentic self.
