In Iran, the clash between tradition and modernity is explored through a series of vignettes. The film offers a glimpse into the lives of various individuals navigating this cultural intersection. We meet Erfan Shafei, a humorous and ironic young Kurdish man with aspirations of becoming a filmmaker. He expresses himself through music and poetry, living with his parents and a parrot, while yearning for love and struggling to find his place in a rapidly changing society.
