Middle‑class housewife Ae‑soon is excessively vain and neglects her duties as a homemaker. When her husband can no longer tolerate her behavior, he forces her out, and she abandons him and their daughter Jeong‑hee to flee with her lover, checking into a hotel. The film explores the fallout of her selfish choices on the fractured family.
