At the seaside Fiskeby Badehotel, Miss Søgaard, daughter of a young executive, arrives to inspect the property. She meets a handsome stranger on the road and falls instantly in love, only to discover he is the hotel's doorman. Disguised as a bellboy, she works there to learn more about him without revealing her identity.
