Star Wars: Squadrons - Hunted

Following the destruction of Alderaan, Darth Vader orders Imperial forces to hunt down any refugees who escaped. Captain Lindon Javes is tasked by Commodore Rae Sloane to lead Helix Squadron in finding and eliminating a refugee convoy at Fostar Haven. Disgusted with these orders, Javes turns on his wingmen and disables their ships to protect the refugees, risking his career.

The convoy sends a distress signal to the Rebel Alliance, signaling their need for aid. The Rebel Alliance dispatches Echo Squadron to escort the refugees and ensure their escape from Imperial pursuit.

After the battle, Javes defects to the Rebel Alliance, seeking safe harbor for his actions. He offers his knowledge of Imperial fleet protocols and procedures to earn the Alliance's trust.

Four years after the Battle of Endor, Javes is promoted to Commander and takes command of the New Republic cruiser Temperance and its elite Vanguard Squadron. They are assigned to oversee Project Starhawk and ensure its completion.

Starhawk is revealed as a massive battleship built from stolen Star Destroyer parts and equipped with a powerful tractor beam. The project becomes a top priority for the New Republic as Vanguard undertakes missions to secure its completion.

Imperial Captain Terisa Kerrill, Javes' former protégé, is tasked with halting Starhawk's completion. She forms Titan Squadron to hinder the New Republic's progress and sabotage the project.

Titan Squadron achieves early success, but Kerrill is baited into a trap by Javes, nearly destroying her Star Destroyer, the Overseer. The confrontation exposes the depth of Javes' betrayal and hardens Kerrill's resolve.

Unwilling to let Javes go, Kerrill forgoes repairs and instead rearms the Overseer, planning to destroy Starhawk even at the cost of her own life. This reckless decision escalates the conflict and pushes Starhawk closer to destruction.

An Imperial assault at the Nadiri Dockyards deals heavy damage to Starhawk, though the battleship manages to escape destruction. The loss forces a desperate defense while Vanguard and the New Republic push to salvage the project.

To defend the Starhawk, Javes personally takes command of Anvil Squadron but is shot down and presumed dead. The commander is believed lost as Imperial forces press their assault.

Starhawk sustains catastrophic damage in a second assault by Titan Squadron. The project teeters on collapse as Imperial forces press their attack.

Vanguard Squadron, now led by Hera Syndulla, makes a last stand and uses the Starhawk's wreckage to ram the Imperial fleet into an unstable moon. The bold strike destroys the Imperial fleet but at great risk.

A surviving Javes offers critical aid to Vanguard, helping them escape as the wreck destroys the fleet. His return marks a turning point for Vanguard's mission and the New Republic's recovery.

Kerrill had left the battle earlier with her ship Overseer after completing her mission of destroying the Starhawk prototype. The Overseer's mission ends with Kerrill's escape from the final confrontation.

Both Titan and Vanguard Squadrons are commended for their actions. The New Republic plans to construct more Starhawk battleships while the Empire plots to regain control of the galaxy.
