Imperial Navy captain who leads Helix Squadron in hunting refugees after Alderaan’s destruction. He sabotages his wingmen to protect the refugees, signaling a crisis of conscience. He defects to the Rebel Alliance, offering his knowledge of Imperial Fleet protocols to earn trust. Four years later, he commands the New Republic cruiser Temperance and its elite Vanguard Squadron, playing a pivotal role in Starhawk’s story.

She is tasked with stopping Project Starhawk by deploying Titan Squadron and later decides to forgo repairs to unleash the Overseer against the Starhawk. Kerril’s impulsiveness and resolve push her toward a drastic plan that tests survivability and loyalty. Her actions culminate in the thwarting of Starhawk’s immediate threat, at great personal cost.

Hera’s tactical acumen and resolve help shepherd the fleet through perilous encounters and a dangerous plan involving the Starhawk.
